The AI for Impact – Global South Forum

The AI for Impact – Global South Forum is coming to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Months of planning, collaboration, and convenings across Africa, bringing together government leaders, development partners, and practitioners, have shaped a shared agenda rooted in one clear insight: AI delivers impact when it is context-led, institution-owned, and designed for public systems at scale.

Those conversations now come to India, as we bring together global perspectives, on-ground experience, and shared accountability to advance AI for public good across healthcare, education, and agriculture.

On 17 February 2026, Wadhwani AI Global with the support of it’s co hosts Qhala, Ministry of ICT & Innovation, Rwanda, Smart Africa, UNDP convenes leaders from governments, multilaterals, and the AI ecosystem to advance a shared priority: moving AI from pilots to population-scale impact in public systems across healthcare, education, and agriculture. The forum reinforces the value of South–South collaboration, with countries such as India and Rwanda drawing on shared development realities to co-create scalable, responsible AI approaches.
